Organisational Structure of NEBE

The NEBE has its headquarters in the capital Addis Ababa. The secretariat has a permanent staff of 170 based at the headquarters. Each of the 547 constituencies are overseen by Coordinators of Constituencies. These coordinators recruit election officers for Constituency and Wereda Electoral Offices. Constituency and Wereda Electoral Offices recruit more than 120,000 election officers to administer polling stations during elections.
